Love Unscripted (Love #1) by Tina Reber

Love Unscripted (Love, #1)
First word that comes to mind is saga! This was a pretty long book compared to most I read. I am NOT complaining at all. The best thing about the writing and the story was the ups and downs. They are not really drastic and I was very invested in the characters and the threads that held them together. Taryn best friends Marie, Tammy, Gary and Pete were just that best friends. Those are the kind of people that I think we all need. The ones who don’t judge, critique, or lie.
The way the book started had me interested from page 1. The way Ryan ran through Taryn’s bar needing shelter and they talked for a while you felt the need for Ryan to have a person whether male or female that he could trust. So yes, Ryan and Taryn both had trust issue and that was the forever thorn in her side. They started out as friends gradually learning about each other. It took quiete a bit of pushing to get Tqaryn to taske a chance. She was cheated on by her fiance and found it easy to turn down every man who asked to date her. Being she is the owner of a pub, men were plentiful, none can hold a candle to Ryan.
When they realized they really cared for each other, they both fought it, Taryn fought more, but they went slow. Taryn was no nonsense and didn’t drool over Ryan and more importantly she didn’t need him, she decided she wanted him.
The family time they shared was a refreshing change for Ryan, which he needed. The banter between Ryan and Nick his brother was adorable. The silly stories that families tell when they are getting to know Taryn were so amusing. Jonelle who is his sister inlaw took a liking to Taryn immediately as well as his parents. It seemed like everyone knew they were perfect for each other but themselves.
About half way through the mystery starts to begin its set up. It was a hell of a mystery too. Body guards, crazed fans, stalkers, and orders of protection. While it all unfold you will be amazed at the outcome of it too. I think that was one of the more compelling parts to the book.
I say read and enjoy this one knowing the sequel is out. The book has everything I love to read love, life, friends, and of course a lot of mystery. Extra credit for love and steam!!!
