I was in love on probably the 5th page. I loved Sadie, hated Jessica and adored Marcus. These characters were RICH in every way you can imagine. When this began I was pulled into Sadie’s drama filled life and I was so affected by it. What I didn’t get was what was Jessica affected by? I don’t think she knew. I guess she was so blessed with Sadie that it was a miracle that she didn’t have to find out how life without Sadie.
The story is basically about choices, dreams, real life and love. When you read it I know you will see that Sadie is amazingly mature, focused, smart, and distant. She really has nothing and is happy being simple with her Mom. When she moved from Tennessee she was doing it to start over because of her Mother’s unplanned pregnancy. She truly gets a dose of being free when she meets Ms Mary and Marcus. The poor girl took over a domestic job and within a few days had the respect of an affluent family and a rock star named Jax.
The rest of the domestic staff became the family she didn’t have. Though I think Ms. Mary was my fave!
Loved this book!! Really can’t wait for the next one
