This book was a little short. I think something was missing. I did like Jackson Bluewolf. He’s a Blackfoot Indian from Oklahoma and an advocate for all Native American Rights. The Indians have been taken advantage for far too many years and Jackson thinks it is his fight to fight.
Marisa Hancock is the lawyer sent to continue a trial when her associate is sick. This is a big case and it essentially come down to 8 million dollars to move a highway so it does not affect the sacred burial grounds. The Seminole Indians in Florida have a fight on their hands.
Marisa is very attracted to Jackson and wants to protect her but is stand offish because he was hurt by a blonde woman. Marisa and Jackson are good together but I think something was missing here and like I said the book was short. Would I recommend this book? hhhmmm for a quick short read it is ok.
