This was a great book. I don’t like to admit I never read any of her other books, but I will now. I have seen some amazing reviews of her work, so I am thrilled to have gotten the chance.
This was pretty emotional. The main character Holly is only 21, in college and in love. Sounded perfect for a minute. Adam and Holly were together for two years. So it starts out with a lot of history between the two and of course brings the emotional aspects in. I am NOT giving away any plot secrets when I say Holly is stunned at the call to say Adam was in an accident. He did not make it. So it is a very low point for her.
Overall the the theme is about life, grabbing what you have for as long as you have it, and healing. I know it pulls at the heart and sort of makes you think a little too much at times. Please read it and enjoy the wonderful journey. Nobody says life is easy or there is a clear path. Nobody tells you to grieve for a certain amount of time and then move on.
I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it, tears and all. I say READ it NOW
