I thoroughly enjoyed this 4 star book. I enjoyed the angst and emotional levels. The dosages were small and evenly spaced so there was no real down moments.

Emmie Hayes realized that the love she found was not what she needed or wanted. After getting the courage to leave, she embarks on a new chapter. The fact that her husband Ashton was not going to just suck it up and walk away, was the first roadblock. She takes off for New York and meets Paige. Shortly after Emmie and Paige become roommates.

The characters of Paige and Colin were very well rounded and I liked them both a lot. I wasnt thrilled with how many times she pushed him away or the fact that he was so persistent. That was the thorn. I dont think may guys would stick around. I also need a little more spice. I am a spice nut!

I really enjoyed Stubborn Love and would recommend it to my chick lit lovers. It is a great beach reach so grab it up. . To me, it was a great somewhat quick read with just the right amount of drama. Ms. Owens did a fabulous job at portraying the emotions of each character, making the story completely believable. I would definitely recommend it!
