Degrees of Wrong by Anna Scarlett @byannascarlett #review

Review:

The story and the plot were very enjoyable. I liked that there was one main story and not a few sub plots altering the telling of the virus. Trying to find a cure for the HTN4 virus, a cousin to Europe’s Black Plague is more than enough to deal with. It makes you pay attention and appreciate Elyse the main character so much more. One of a kind for sure!

Trying not to give away anything I will say other looking for Elyse only want to use her for their evil business. Elyse has a great background and good story about her parents. She is very emotional about losing so much first and foremost her parents, and the remaining village. It makes her character stronger and more desirable. She wants only good and is not stopping or letting anyone get in her way. So for all of the banter and her attitude I say BRAVO Anna Scarlett you crated a winner!

Overall I loved Elyse as the strong female lead and her attitude, comebacks and of course the comments about being a chocolate lover were supreme! I loved the blue eyed mysterious hottie and when he returns I knew I was in the deep end of the pool! She was written well and very determined especially avoiding Nicoli. He was a thorn in my side and I was glad she stayed away. I think this avoiding was crucial for me. Usually woman crumble but not Elyse. I enjoyed having her avoid him. Go grab this one up! I think the way it ended leaves a few opening so I hope we are seeing much more in the future.

Anna’s first published work was a letter to the editor of her local newspaper complaining about stingy tippers-she was a 17 year old waitress. The letter got her a free dinner at the restaurant where she worked, and dirty looks from all the stingy tippers. Now that her mother has passed away, Anna feels it’s safe to reveal that she also wrote other students’ term papers for prom money in high school. Her favorite pastimes include reading, writing, drinking wine, and reading and writing while drinking wine. She can shoot a sling shot, speak with a southern accent, and take a nap in the middle of the day, any day of the week-at a moment’s notice, no less. She cannot rollerblade, apply liquid eyeliner, or find her keys. Ever.
Anna lives in Florida with her husband, daughter, and the fictional characters in her head. Feel free to drop her a line at byannascarlett@gmail.com, or chat her up on Twitter: @byannascarlett.

You can also get chummy with her on Goodreads. She loves fan mail and gift certificates to Panera Bread.
