I LOVED this book. Probably the first in a motorcycle club that was not loaded with violence and graphic scenes. This is a great start for a new series. As for the characters, you can see right away that the leader Roundman is front and center. Of course his daughter Delilah aka Doll, starts the book off becoming embroiled in a very scary ordeal. A partner is not well and has a relative take over this particular job. The entire set up is really good. There is a lot to the club and being President Roundman is not someone anyone wants to or is willing to mess with.

As for the Hellions, I was educated on the entire operation. Makes you wanna go fall in love with a biker! They are smart, business savvy and loyal. When there is a new Dellatorre to deal with so Roundman immediately gets the crew and formulates a plot. It seems like there is a threat that is close to home. Doll and her best friend Savannah aka Sass have no choice but to go on One Ride to keep them safe.

keep me safe 2

The games begin and I will tell you that the only person to get Doll out of her shell is Tripp. He is the ultimate protector. The journey across the country through back woods is so good. I really enjoyed meeting the other motorcycle clubs. I learned all about how they show respect and loyalty. The author did a great job not only with the plot but with the descriptions. There is just enough of the scenery and other bike clubs to make you feel like you too are on the run. Who wouldn’t want to be ion the back of Tripp’s bike? It is alternating point of views, which is great for us to hear Tripp and get into his mind.

I have to say this book is HOT. There are some dark parts, but, like I said it is all in the telling and the balance between the dark and the no turning back. This one touches it and turns it back. What a phenomenal story. YES there are more and I cant wait for them.

theres more

I really fell in love with the character of Delilah “Doll” Reklinger. She was relateable for me because she stuck with the club. I liked that she didnt rebel and run away, but embraced her life. She has some great commentaries with tons of attitude. Sass is equally as fabulous to me. Talon “Tripp” Crews well well well what can I say? He is hot but not as hot as the infamous Tank. He is on the cover and I say he is just jaw dropping sexy

 Chelsea Camaron
Chelsea Camaron was born and raised in Coastal North Carolina. She currently resides in Southern Louisiana with her husband and two children but her heart is always Carolina day dreaming.

Chelsea always wanted to be a writer, but like most of us, let fear of the unknown grab a hold of her dream; she realized that if she was going to tell her daughter to go for her dreams, that it was time to follow her own advice.

Chelsea grew up turning wrenches alongside her father, and from that grew her love for old muscle cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles, which just so happened to inspired her ‘Love and Repair’ series and the ‘Hellions Ride’ motorcycle club series. Her love for reading has sparked a new love for writing and she currently has a few more projects in the works.

When she is not spending her days writing you can find her playing with her kids, attending car shows, going on motorcycle rides on the back of her husband’s Harley, snuggling down with her new favorite book or watching any movie that Vin Diesel might happen to be in. She hates being serious and is still a big kid at heart. She is a small town country girl enjoying life and, Chelsea hopes that her readers remember not to take life too seriously and to embrace your inner five year old, because five year olds know how to enjoy the simple things in life and how to always have fun.
