Two Weeks With a SEAL (The Wakefield Romance Series) by Theresa Marguerite Hewitt @TMarguerite #review

Make a donation to support one of the USA’s many armed forces! I loved the story. Rhea was totally amazing. By the time I was 1/4 way through I was thinking she has endured so much pain, yet she moves on with life. I dont know if there is a woman alive who wouldnt be touched by her story. Her Mom, well she was always hanging on. Her brother Randy was a HERO. Her Dad was a loser. Chad who was Randi’s best friend couldn’t be any finer.
It tells the story of an family and great group of friends whop were touched, hurt, torn apart, and broken by military service. I really enjoyed the way the author depicts the effects war and service have on the loved ones. I thought her writing was great! I see some reviews that are confusing. Sometimes there are edits, my book was perfect without anything noticeable glaring off the page. The message is there so if you love angst and military type dramas then YES it is for you. Moving to book 2!
Bravo another wonderfully written book. There is a lot to love about this series, characters, and most of all the author. Give it up for the Seals!!

these songs in Embracing Love. I have listened to all of
them while writing, some of them over and over. I would open the playlist and
get lost in the music while writing. Each song has lyrics that fit with the
characters, and their story. There are a couple songs that mean more than
others. When I say I had them on repeat, they were on repeat for hours! My
husband is thankful for my ear buds.

One Ride Book One of the Hellions Ride Series By Chelsea Camaron @chelseacamaron #giveaway #REVIEW
I LOVED this book. Probably the first in a motorcycle club that was not loaded with violence and graphic scenes. This is a great start for a new series. As for the characters, you can see right away that the leader Roundman is front and center. Of course his daughter Delilah aka Doll, starts the book off becoming embroiled in a very scary ordeal. A partner is not well and has a relative take over this particular job. The entire set up is really good. There is a lot to the club and being President Roundman is not someone anyone wants to or is willing to mess with.
As for the Hellions, I was educated on the entire operation. Makes you wanna go fall in love with a biker! They are smart, business savvy and loyal. When there is a new Dellatorre to deal with so Roundman immediately gets the crew and formulates a plot. It seems like there is a threat that is close to home. Doll and her best friend Savannah aka Sass have no choice but to go on One Ride to keep them safe.
The games begin and I will tell you that the only person to get Doll out of her shell is Tripp. He is the ultimate protector. The journey across the country through back woods is so good. I really enjoyed meeting the other motorcycle clubs. I learned all about how they show respect and loyalty. The author did a great job not only with the plot but with the descriptions. There is just enough of the scenery and other bike clubs to make you feel like you too are on the run. Who wouldn’t want to be ion the back of Tripp’s bike? It is alternating point of views, which is great for us to hear Tripp and get into his mind.
I have to say this book is HOT. There are some dark parts, but, like I said it is all in the telling and the balance between the dark and the no turning back. This one touches it and turns it back. What a phenomenal story. YES there are more and I cant wait for them.
I really fell in love with the character of Delilah “Doll” Reklinger. She was relateable for me because she stuck with the club. I liked that she didnt rebel and run away, but embraced her life. She has some great commentaries with tons of attitude. Sass is equally as fabulous to me. Talon “Tripp” Crews well well well what can I say? He is hot but not as hot as the infamous Tank. He is on the cover and I say he is just jaw dropping sexy
I really enjoyed this from beginning to end. I hope once you get it you will love it as much as I did. Best part is there are 3 more books.

like his name is TANK Stay tuned!!

One Ride Book One of the Hellions Ride Series By Chelsea Camaron @chelseacamaron #giveaway

Without Doubt by CJ Azevedo @AzevedoCJ @AshleyWilcox55 #cover #reveal
Ava Sterling is tough and the most straight laced girl you will ever meet. Her family and her past have managed to alter her future permanently and she has no desire to allow anyone else into her life or her heart for fear of rejection or further altering. Ava is alone in the world with the exception of the grandest responsibility she did not create on her own but on her own she will carry for the rest of her life.
Declan James is a MMA fighter, party all night kind of guy. Responsibility is nowhere to be found in his life or so he allows everyone around him to believe. Coming from wealth and a carefree lifestyle, Declan gets what he wants, always. And what he wants is Ava. In his pursuit of getting what he wants, Ava in his bed, his plan changes quickly without his consent. Against his plans of being the next hot bachelor to cross the tabloids as he makes his way to being the Ultimate Light Heavyweight Champion, Declan falls in love. He falls in love without hesitation and without doubt.
Neither Declan nor Ava are aware that fate has inconveniently intertwined their lives forever. Will they be able to survive the aftermath of the truth?
CJ has lived all over the state of California, Central, South, North and finally landing back somewhere in the middle. She married the boy she fell for when she was only eleven years old and together they have two beautiful heathens. CJ obviously loves to read and write. She can watch the Giant’s play baseball but hates football. She bakes when she’s sad, runs when she’s mad and dances when she’s happy (even if she cant find a rhythm to save her life) If you’re looking for her and can’t seem to find her, look on the staircase, it’s her favorite spot to read.
Ava sits up and straddles her legs on either side of my waist and takes a deep breath. “I hated everything about tonight.”
“About my fight?” I ask because I’m not sure I’m following her. Is she upset about Ashton or my reaction to them being together at the fight? She nods her head without looking at me so I sit up and wrap my arms around her. “I’m fine, babe. I’m really good at what I do, the chances of me getting really hurt are slim.”
She pops her head up quickly and narrows her eyes at me. “There is nothing funny about this, Declan! You scared the shit out of me!!” she exclaims just before punching me in the arm.
“Ow! What was that for?” I rub out the little sting on my bicep while mostly holding back a laugh, but I can’t hide my smile.
She quiets down but her eyes are terrified. “He kicked you in the head,” she whispers so softly I can hardly hear her. I have to laugh; I can’t help it.
“He kicked me in my head?” Did this surprise her?
“YES! Do you not remember that?” Her response is pure fear and I hate that I put that look on her face and that feeling in her heart.
“Yeah, I remember, Sunshine.” I smooth her hair away from her face and kiss her soundly. “I should have explained things to you, on how the fights work, what to expect. I would have if I knew you were going to show up, but I honestly thought that you were dead set against ever coming to one.”
Ava sighs. “I was, but then I felt like I wasn’t supporting you by not being there for you and I didn’t want you thinking that.”
I guide her backwards so she’s lying down with her head at the foot of the bed. I lean forward and slip my hands up her smooth thighs, placing small, lingering kisses along the way. My hands reach her hips and I’m reminded that she’s only wearing a nightie. “Hmmm, I love you so much. You are the sexiest woman I have ever known, Sunshine.” My hot breath whispers across her hip bones and over the skin just above her panty line (if she were wearing any). “I love the way you care about things other people don’t even take the time to think about.” My tongue draws a line up her abdomen, following her rising nightie. Her breathing has changed; it’s harsher and more rapid and I can’t get enough of it. My tongue swirls around her navel. “You make me so happy,” I kiss along her rib cage, “no matter what,” my tongue runs underneath her breast, “you don’t ever have to see another fight,” I kiss between her cleavage and slip her nightie off as I drag the tip of my nose to her ear, “just please don’t be upset over what I do. Don’t worry. Please? I need you, Ava, I need you like the air I breathe.” My tongue slides on the outer rim of her ear and I place a delicate kiss to her temple. I’m on top of her in a second, my elbows on either side of her head. My mouth connects with hers and although she has tears streaming down her face, there is no hesitation in her kiss.
Ava makes me feel like the word “love” was established just for us. Her and I. Me and her. I know that I would do anything for her, even become a damn accountant if that’s what she wished for on a bright, shining star. I would. It would be the toughest thing to possibly imagine but it wouldn’t be impossible. Surviving the loss of my relationship with her? That would be impossible.
MAJRA by J Simon @MajraBook @ladyreaderstuff
“In distant Sa’bahr, divinely inspired lunatics spend their lives inscribing every story ever told upon the backs of giant tortoises. The tortoises spend their lives weeping, for they cannot read the wondrous tales written upon their own backs…”
Aris has managed to live a quiet life, even in a stark desert land of glorious tales and beautiful lies, crazed artists and mad hermits. So what if he has a knack for tales? A mere messenger can’t change the world. Mighty great works he’ll leave to mighty great men.
Now the soldiers of Majra have come to
pacify his “savage” people.
Few dare stand against them. Certainly Aris never meant to. Taking work with the inavders was a way to help his family, not gain insights into the alien ways of their singular truth.
Beset by beguiling widows and vengeful plutocrats, firebrand Sheyks and
sword-tongued maidens, the choices Aris faces could save his land—or break it.
J Simon is a small blue bird who has been published in magazines and anthologies ranging from Baen’s Universe to Writers of the Future.
This surely indicates a lapse by the Guardians of Taste, and inquiries are being made.
There is also a very small chance that nuclear test fallout has transformed J Simon into a gigantic nuclear starfish poised to attack Tokyo, but these reports have yet to be confirmed.
In Spades (Mirrored #1) by K. Pinson @KatelynnPinson

What a captivating bunch of characters. Ava and Abby are perfect. Ava is the best sister in the world. Dax is perfect and even Gabe, his brother showed promise.Ava has a weekend job as a bartender and her only friend is Faith. They are a special duo. What I really enjoyed was the friendship the author created between these two lovely ladies. Having both be alike and not polar opposites was the draw for me. I am tired of my super rich best friend and I am living just above the poverty line. That aspect of their relationship was perfect. Just two girls and no drama, how refreshing.
Dax was a very big hearted lovable guy. Who wouldn’t love a rocker who does music therapy for kids? The story of both Avalynn and Dax is compelling. I felt so bad for Ava growing up in such an awful home. When she turns 18 and goes to get her sister Abby who is a special needs child I almost lost it. A very special character and I LOVED seeing an autistic child in a book. GREAT job on the character creations, the story flow and plot. It was a little dark, which I love, so of course I say READ IT NOW!
