Backstage Pass (Sinners on Tour #1)

Just AMAZING!! I feel like I am Stephon on Saturday Night Live saying this but this book had it all! The best rock stars, idols, bad secrets from the past, emotional baggage and even though Myrna wouldn’t say it I will say LOVE! I don’t want to babble on about the book and the characters and where the writing was going, it is not that kinds book. This is the kind that several times you throw your hand to your mouth and say “Holy shit he did not just do that”?

So this is about the entire “persona” behind a real band. The way all the characters blend and grow together is so awesome. I loved it from beginning to end. Anything I would say about how each person held a different character flaw would just not do justice to it. I mean seriously how can you not love Brian? Talk about perfection. Each member of the band had a strong personality that caused the fights, the love and the story.

As for the plot, it was pretty fast paced with a lot of steam. What else do I say? READ it NOW!! I am gushing now!!

Reflected in You: A Crossfire Novel

The hotly anticipated second book of the Crossfire Trilogy continues the sensual saga of Eva and Gideon that began inBared to You…the New York Times bestselling novel of “EROTIC ROMANCE THAT SHOULD NOT BE MISSED” (Romance Novel News).

Gideon Cross. As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn’t stay away. I didn’t want to. He was my addiction… my every desire… mine.

My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful… except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity. We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession…

Watch Me by Lisa Renee Jones

This was such a read. In romance and television there are nasty people and then there are total bitches. Kiki was Megan’s thorn. What an evil girl! Megan started out at Julliard with a promise and then she got injured. Next phase starts with her major shifting to television and a dream for a dance show where contestants live together. Viola there is the plot, drama and bitchiness. When the head of security as former war hero Sam gets under Megan’s skin the sparks fly.

As Meg and Sam are just starting to open up to each other “the curse” seems to have grown into everyone’s imagination. Things happen and Meg convinces herself that there is a curse and is scared that she will lose what is left of her dream. Sam finally gets his assistant Josh to help out and steer KiKi out of their path in order to get Meg to open up to him.

Loved this for the steam and of course the drama. I think there are 2 more books to follow.
