Well this is the first time in a long time that I re-read a book. Picking up where book 1 left off, Angelina is a teenager, which is an obstacle even if you aren’t dealing with her family issues. This book takes you through the story of why Giano …took, stole, rescued Fallyn and turned her into his daughter Angelina. 

With a darkness, the author guides you through some very delicate issues; what happened to her parents? how can she find out? This was the best part of the book for me. Her exploration of older memories leads to a few big answers! 

The darkness continues as Angelina and her father Giano learn to bond and love each other. I think her early years created a servant type of behavior. The love she feels for Giano is very strong. The love she feels for her Uncle Zo is equally as strong. He has become another a force in the form of a protector. He is Giano’s right hand man. I think that he became a sort of Grandfather figure to her. They spend a lot of time together while Giano is away. He plays games with her, cooks with her and spends some time learning about her. 

She explores her teen years, her parents and what the hell does Giano do for a living? When she finds out the truths about all of this, you will cry for her! 

This was a very deep, emotional and dark book. I loved it!
