This one was better than book 1. The duo known as Jessie Lane are some great writers. I often think how can two people write together but honestly it is seamless. I think they both have a naughty side that comes through for this sexy paranormal book. In this book the characters from book 1 come back so it is not like a spinoff of just a few. It holds a great blending of romance some mystery and an edgy paranormal plot with some humor in it too. So, to answer yes it is all that! Elena is an MP and she has the tough attitude that you would expect. Yes I liked her a lot and then there is Gage. hhhmmm Gage, yes he is as enticing as his name

The interaction between these character is funny, sexy, and engaging. Get it Gage. Oh squee I wont give away any plots but there is an uneasiness between the two and lets say he was a little turd. So moving on can he redeem himself? Does he recognize the lust? Does he walk away? NOPE that is when the story starts to veer in the naughty directions. Hot!

Aside from Gage and Elena I have to say I loved Delta and Chloe who are Elena’s sisters. Chloe had that take no prisoners attitude and I liked her toughness. I also enjoyed their names. something fresh with Chloe and I love Delta that is a cool name too, Then I add Kent (another sexy name) and Alec to the list. Now we just need more. I also give a little high five to the authors for creating a story with characters that require more. It is hard I guess when you write something and the reaction from fans, like me, is MORE. So we will try to be patient, but yeah MORE is what we want.

YES she did it again. The boys of Tempest are stronger and better than ever! I knew when the book l started that War was out and Justin was in. So of course as you would expect there is a big drama exploding between the guys.

I think once the pissing contest ends they have a long road to find a happy medium. Not an easy one for any of them. I loved how Justin and Lace were super tight. She understood and offers comport to Justin when he was down. She gave him hope and a few pointers that made the transition to being the Tempest Lead singer a little easier.

The dynamic of the twins Avery and Justin was unique. Their story about being kids was tough. Somewhere nestled in the drama of a rock band is a story of their big hearts. They have a reveal that is so heartwarming.

The story is very meaningful for Lace and Bridgett. Their bond is strong and when she called Lace jumped up and said come and stay with me. I will leave the rest to you to enjoy, but it is sweet. When Justin meets Bridget (Lace’s only friend in drug rehab) he is smitten. She escapes to Canada asking Lace for a place to stay. THIS is all in the first 5 chapters!
