This was one hell of an explosive book. I did see some very likable similarities to Kellan and the Thoughtless books. So yup I loved it!!

The Tru and Jake growing up as best friends was so sweet. When they lost contact and Jake made it big both Susie (Jake’s Mom) and Tru’s parents lost touch too. It was twelve long years before their paths crossed again. When Tru shows up to do the interview for her magazine Etiquette on Jake’s band The Mighty Storm, it all comes back. Not long into their meeting Jake asks Tru if she has a boyfriend and she says yes and tells him about Will. For the last two years she is dating Will and she sort of questions that love right away. When she takes the job to do the article on Jake you know right away that sparks are there and even though you love Jake, there is Will and his love to think about. That made me cry so bad when Will and Tru’s room mate Simone come to get her on the last leg of the UK tour. Big drama!!

The love story has so many great times and Jake and Tru were extremely sweet. I know the lows were there and mostly they were not that bad until things explode when Jakes Dad’s story comes out. That portion of the book is where I cried the second time. 

You get the paparazzi education and learn about what the you read is almost always fabrication. Poor Jake and Tru suffer those ramifications many times. 

Overall I really enjoyed this book. I loved the characters and thought the writing was strong and real. Sometimes the best stories are the ones that make you yell at the book. I yelled at Tru so many times so I know how good it was. 

Strongly recommend if you were a fan of KA Linde’s Avoiding Series and The Thoughtless series that you come and fall in love with Jake and The Mighty Storm!
