It Ain’t Easy Being Jazzy by Quanie Miller @QuanieMiller #review @ladyreaderstuff

If you love chick lit this is for you. I can say this is a romantic comedy at a high point. Truly funny Jazzy wants to reunite with Curtis, who is an ex boyfriend. It is sort of funny how I got totally excited when Curtis tells her he had news”that he needs to share. I was like oh my maybe they will get back together. NO and I am not giving spoilers but he is with her cousin Mercedes who she hates, and I in turn hate too!

The funniest part was when Jazzy meets Reggie and figures he can be her escape. If she had Reggie with her then Mercedes and her engagement wont hurt too much. She thinks maybe this big old family dinner may even be pleasant with Reggie as a distraction. It makes everyone think she is taken. It seems like a great plan in the beginning. Right away things happen causing me to really laugh too hard!

Take a trip with this hysterical family. I loved Jazzy, her family is crazy and I can totally see this as a series. Authors like Quanie Miller provide us with a true escape. Sometimes books like Jazzy come along and you should tell a friend! READ IT Things are really not “easy” being Jazzy!

Quanie Miller grew up in New Iberia, Louisiana. She fell in love with reading at an early age and spent most of her time at the Iberia Parish Library discovering new authors like R.L. Stine and Christopher Pike (she was often found walking back home from the library with a stack of books that went up to her chin). She holds degrees from Louisiana State University and San Jose State University. She has been the recipient of the James Phelan Literary Award, the Louis King Thore Scholarship, the BEA Student Scriptwriting Award, and the Vicki Hudson Emerging Writing Prize. She loves writing humorous stories about strong willed, sassy women who can’t keep themselves out of trouble.
