A note from me. I met Heidi last week at the Author’s in the OC event that was benefiting Breast Cancer Research. I was honestly going from one side of the room to the other. There was a cute blonde lady sitting next to Heidi and I said I dont know what series to get and she says “Get them all” and laughed a hearty laugh and I liked her so Yeah I bought them. I told Heidi I was a blogger and she asked for a card, I didn’t have any with me, I was too excited about seeing some of my friends. I promised I would do a promo for each book, so reviews will come. I do have a set signed to do a giveaway. I also got a drum stick, I know in my little mind that Harrison touched it with his magic. Swoon!
I got all of them on my kindle and away I went. Right now I am on book 3. The first 2 were great and I am in Beaumont heaven right now. I dont think I will leave, unless someone tells me how I can bring Beaumont to Irvine California. I really love where I live and I will try to visit them only in my dreams.
I was never supposed to be a rock star. I had my life all planned out for me. Play football in college. Go to the NFL. Marry my high school sweetheart and live happily ever after.
I broke both our hearts that day when I told her I was leaving. I was young. I made the right decision for me, but the wrong decision for us. I’ve poured my soul into my music, but I’ve never forgotten her. Her smell, her smile.
And now I’m going back.
After ten years.
I hope I can explain that after all this time.
I still want her to be my forever girl.
