Did you know that I began my authorship in the paranormal genre?
Romance wasn’t a genre I read at all when I dove into Twilight. A friend urged me to read it anyway, and something about the way Stephenie Meyer pulled me into the story made me devour all three books. After finishing them, my first thought was: “I want her to write books about angels too!” Then: “Would she if I asked? No. Of course not.” Then: “Wait a minute. I can do it. And I might could add a tad more steam than she has in her books?”Then, finally: “Hey! I can write a new adult paranormal book about angels!”

So I did. I wasn’t sure if my book was worthy of publication, so I didn’t take my chances on “going indie.” Instead, I queried agents and publishing houses, until a medium-sized romance house pulled Shattering Halos out of their slush pile and accepted it.
Shattering Halos was released by The Wild Rose Press on February 22nd of 2014. I could hardly contain myself, and we celebrated with mimosas at my day job that morning. Today, two years later, it has 4.4 stars on Amazon and 133 reviews, so I must have done something right. Right…? *blinks, unsure*
I wanted to give you a heads up that for a few days my publisher is offering Shattering Halos at 99 cents on Amazon. As always, I would love your help in spreading the word.

Last Sunday, I wrote The End on my next new adult novel, In The Absence Of You, and it is the darkest, angstiest of my books thus far. I’m considering prefacing it with:“Dark New Adult Rockstar Romance – Enter at own risk!” on Amazon once I hit publish, lol!
The cover reveal happens on May 11th.
I promise you the purplest cover ever to have hit your blogs, and I would love, love to have you on board for the reveal.

The Blurb:

Aishe is running. Running from the burn of a love she knows will consume her.
Running from a soul mate she’s never even met.
If only she hadn’t been hired as a merch girl for the hottest indie band on earth.
If only she’d never laid eyes on its front man, Emil—intense, sexy, and so unlike the men of her culture.
If only she hadn’t fallen onto his lips, then into his bed.
If only her flame hadn’t exploded into a full-on forest fire.
If only Emil’s heart didn’t belong to someone else.

Emil is running. Running from a broken heart.
Running from who he was with her.
If only Zoe hadn’t left.
If only Aishe hadn’t been right there.
If only she hadn’t been so damn gorgeous—insistent—different.
If only he could control himself around her.
If. Only.

Release date: June 28th, 2016.
