How to Catch a Creeper by Ellie Campbell #review @ecampbellbooks

how to catch a creeper 20810359

In order if you have not read Looking for LaLa please GRAB it here Cathy is the funny and zany character from LaLa. When she starts working of course there is not love fest there. I mean every office has a psycho, a loser, a slut and a nut job right? I guess only mine then. Follow Cathy in the den of the beast! There are characters from LaLa, like Hugh, Sophie and Rosa. I will say that In the office you will laugh a lot. There are so many humorous quips. I felt I was relating more to Cathy here because at times she was VERY unappreciated. I think any mother who has to work and juggles feels like she is unappreciated. That is how I felt at times myself. I wanted to pinch Declan at times and hug him at others.

Follow Cathy through her zany and somewhat I Love Lucy type scenarios. She tries to find out who is burglarizing homes in her neighborhood. It is a cozy type mystery. People who are fans of Pamela Fagan Hutchins will love this series and these great authors.

I will say Cathy is lovable, enjoyable to read, and the book is light and oh so easy to love.

The two youngest of four girls, the ‘wee ones’ as they were called were raised in Scotland until as teens their parents moved the family down to Sussex. Pam now lives in Surrey with her husband and three children where she divides her time between writing, family, her allotment, a part-time job and chasing down her writing partner and big sister, Lorraine. After leaving her publishing job for a life of adventure, Lorraine spent many happy years jaunting around South and Central America, Polynesia, India etc, lived for three years in France and then sailed the Caribbean as the world’s worst charter cook. Destination to be Determined (The Traveler, #1) by Nicole Andrews Moore @thenicknick JB McGee @j_b_mcgee

Life has never been easy for Emmy London.  Raised in foster homes, she learned to never get too comfortable, to never let anyone in.  When her classmate, Chloe Oliver, disappeared at the tender age of five, so did she.  From that moment on, life was never the same. She kept a secret and kept her distance from everyone.

With the twentieth anniversary of Chloe’s disappearance looming, Mr. Oliver sought Emmy’s assistance, asking her to revisit the past in order to give him the closure he so desperately needed.  As a private investigator, she was accustomed to facing unpleasant situations and sifting through others’ lives.  Unfortunately, this time to do that, she had to face her own.

Soon, she herself is being followed.  A handsome stranger insinuates himself in her life.  Everything she believed and thought she knew is called into question beginning with…can she turn her curse into a gift?

Her mission is clear, her destination is to be determined.

J.B. McGee was born and raised in Aiken, South Carolina. She is the mother of two beautiful children and a stay at home mom/entrepreneur. She finished her Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of South Carolina-Aiken in 2006. During her time studying children’s literature, a professor had encouraged her to become a writer.
In 2011 it was discovered that both of her children and her husband have Mitochondrial Disease, a disease that has no cure or treatments. Being a writer allows J.B. to remain close to her family, work on raising awareness for this disease and to lose herself in the stories that she
creates for her fans.
J.B. McGee and her family now reside in Buford, Georgia. She is an Amazon Top 100 bestselling author of her debut series, the ‘THIS’ Series.
She is represented by Stacey Donaghy with Donaghy Literary Group. Her books can be found on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, Apple, and Smashwords in ebook, paperback, and even some audiobooks. The German translation for her debut novel, Broken, will be available July 1, 2014, through Amazon Crossing.

Nicole Andrews Moore has been an author since 2011, but it was after the birth of her daughter, Kenna in January of 2012, that she was determined to make it a full-time career.  As the fourth smallest preemie in the world, Kenna’s medical needs would prevent her from ever going to day care.  A fan introduced her to JB McGee, who became her mentor and best friend.  They have been working together ever since, but The Traveler Series is their first collaboration.
For fun, she spends time with those she cares about, cooks, reads, writes, and especially lives to travel. The current travel goal: visit every Margaritaville. Three down! (Eleven to go?)
Her writing can also be found on Shine, where she is a Shine Parenting Guru and an award winning Yahoo! Contributor on YourWisdom as the relationship and dating expert. In addition, she has been published by McClatchy News in their syndicated papers.

Her books can be found on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, Apple, and Smashwords in ebook, paperback, and even some audiobooks.

Perfectly Broken by Prescott Lane @prescottlane1 #review

Such a great story here. If you are a New Adult fan or a romance with a drama filled plot then grab this book NOW. I loved the main character Peyton. She was raised by her Grandma in New Orleans and took over her Grandma’s recipes and started a very successful pie shop. Not cakes, cookies or fudge but pie. She had a sense for who liked what kind of pie and could guess them immediately. I liked that because it was one of the unique traits of the character. So her best friend Quinn and her Brother Griffin helped Peyton through some tough times.

Now for Quinn. there is a lot to like about her but I think most is her fierce loyalty to Peyton. She is a very protective friend. The same lightness is offered up for her and her unique talent. Quinn has a thing for underwear. Many references are made her to her along with her quite charming ways of naming panties. It is just this lightness that balances her and her OCD tendencies. Bret her boyfriend is a dream. His best friend Reed, well ….. my oh my he is fine. He is a player who falls for Peyton.

Now more on the Reed front. I liked him because he did recognize that he was living a life of leisure with a variety of ladies. OK now he gets into Peyton and he is taken by her. Is it enough to change his ways?

This has so many deep parts. The characters are all bonded together very tight. There is a secret reveal for Peyton that is huge and then one small. Reed and Griffin provide the drama.

Lastly I saved my favorite character for last. Dr Lorraine. There really are no words to describe how freakin awesome this therapist is. She is smart, funny, and determined to help Peyton. She says the funniest things in a one liner type way. I would love to have a Dr. Lorraine series. There is one part where she tells Peyton to got shopping and well Peyton says no to retail therapy and the Doctor suggests daily masturbation. Peyton went shopping! LMAO just had to give you a taste of her brilliance.

The author does a great job with her style and the correct level of drama. I loved it can you tell?

Another great book and ya know on the last page it says there will be a book 3. NO cliffhanger either! Just more of the characters we love and those we love to hate.

clapping eee 3366097What you get in book 2 is the continuation of a few characters so there is familiarity. Loving Jeremy and Mattie in book one brings them back for a few memorable scenes. This one is much more intricate in the reveals. There is a new character Kelly and her sidekick assistant Rodney. Both of them are not at all trusting and she is wanting to steal Hard Reign from Laurel. There is an element of danger when it comes to these two.

danger bneating a

As for the character of Laurel, I loved her! I also loved her assistant Sarah. Both together bring a light hearted comedy effect to the book. There is a certain fear of elevators that Laurel has and Sarah is scared of flying. Things like this make you feel connected to them, they seem normal. It makes then not only likable, but lovable and real.

danger confined images (2)

The buildup was a long one. Well worth the wait because there are a few people who could be evil enough to try to break up not only the band but Laurel and Cade. So believe me this is a thrilling chick lit read! Grab it up

I have always been a voracious reader. After hitting a dry spell of reading material, I decided to write the kind of book I would like to read. This resulted in the creation of my debut novel, Intentional.
I am currently working on a sequel based on the life of one of Intentional’s supporting characters.
When I’m not writing novels, I enjoy traveling the world, rain, watching movies and reading (!)
I also run my own business in my current hometown of Mercer Island, Washington.

Forever Ride by Chelsea Camaron #Release #giveaway @ChelseaCamaron @gabbiesduran

Events happen in life that can awaken our truest and deepest desires. They also show us our greatest fears. Sometimes we are forced to face those fears, other times we build walls that can’t be broken to protect ourselves.A profound connection these two once shared. A strong friendship once formed was shattered. Fate has stepped in and shaken both their worlds. The danger, the wild, the chaos, and the lifestyle of the Hellions world has become far too much for Savannah ‘Sass’ Perchton. Swearing off bikers and attempting a ‘normal’ life, she has settled. She’s committed to Nick, her country club, pretty boy. She’s found a way to be content.

Things aren’t always what they seem. Wrap an empty box in pretty paper and a bow, it may look amazing, but it’s still a hollow shell.

He’s a Hellions playboy. A different chick in his bed, off on a different ride, and always something new. He’s Frank the ‘Tank’ Oleander, Haywood’s Hellions Road Chief. Throttle down and life is good.

The fast pace of the Hellions life catches up to him. At a crossroads, he’s forced to face some life changing thoughts or succumb to the darkness of death.
Teetering on the brink of giving in, her voice is all he’s holding onto. The coma he can’t pull himself out of, but her voice is the light in the darkness. He wants the girl who pulled him through when his life was literally in the balance.

She’s sworn off bikers.
Can he pull through?
Can she ever see past the lifestyle to the heart of the man behind the cut?
Will they find their Forever Ride?

Grace quickly befriends Dylan, Rex’s nephew, and Dylan’s girlfriend, Sadie, who is a die-hard teen activist. Unspoken Memories by Gabbie S. Duran @gabbiesduran #review

WOW only a few days until book 2

I loved this one Matt Garcia swoon. You know I must be honest I dont like ghost, paranormal or fantasy. This was a GREAT romance/suspense story with a side order of a ghost. I cant explain it exactly but the main character was great. She wakes up from being in a coma and hear things between a man and a woman. These things are disturbing and they quickly take over the book. This is where the plot goes into overdrive. Our Abigail Adams is an up and coming supermodel. Im old so I will think of her as a young Kathy Ireland. She quickly realizes she has no memory. The fall damaged her and she cant figure things out. Then she remembers a phone number, gets a private investigator and finds the person connected to the number. Boy oh boy this was very well done!

The characters are so good and the memories are clear to Abbie, so clear in fact I was stunned at the twist that happens relating to them. I guess if someone is no longer here in the physical world they are still here in spirit. I totally believe that. This by no means is a paranormal book, its a new adult romance and it has a twist. It is a marvelous book that ends with you wanting more but not needing it. No cliffhangers. Gotta love that.

What I loved was how the minor story was running a marathon. As a model she never thought about exercise, just diet modification. Abigail takes up running with her new found friends. It was very inspirational reading how she starting to run some really big marathons.

The author does a great job with the romance aspects of Abigail. There is a steam factor here. I think the level is a good 8 on a 1-10 scale. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I have a few days until book 2 what a deal!

New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language and sexual content, not intended for readers under the age of 18.

There isn’t anything exciting about me, besides having a uniquely spelled name….

Yes, it’s spelled Gabbie.

I’m a mom first, a wife second, and then a crazy girl who won’t hesitate to take on a challenge. That’s how I found my passion for writing. My daughter challenged me to write a book, and I did.

I was born and raised in Southern California. I live with my wonderful husband, two amazing kids and a senior citizen kitty named Tigger. When I’m not writing you can find me reading or sneaking off for a run. Some might say it’s a crazy life, but I wouldn’t change anything about it.

Perfectly Broken by Prescott Lane @prescottlane1 #Spotlight

synopsis Image4

Even after years of trauma therapy, Peyton still believes she’s broken. She has little desire to date or show off her natural beauty, content simply to hang out with her best friends and run her pie shop in New Orleans. But her world turns upside-down when a handsome architect and self-confessed player shows up in her shop and thinks she’s perfect, much more than the usual hook-up. While Peyton does her best to resist his charms, believing she could never be enough for him, she can’t deny the obvious heat between them. With Reed determined to have her, Peyton must decide whether to continue to hide behind her apron and baggy clothes or take a chance and share her scars with Reed, a man with a playboy reputation and scars of his own — a dark past he can’t possibly share with Peyton, not after learning the horrors she’s endured. But if they can find a way to trust each other, and themselves, they just might be able to heal, to save each other, to live perfectly broken together.

Playing All The Angles by Nicole Lane @OmnificPub @lanelese

TITLE: PLAYING ALL THE ANGELS
AUTHOR: NICOLE LANE
RELEASE DATE: JUNE 10, 2014

Dominic Phillips is an enjoyable distraction from fashion designer Eve D’Amico’s loneliness, but there’s never been anything more between them than hot sex. Since he desires no commitment from her either, it’s pretty much the perfect arrangement…except for the fact that he’s dating her sister Isabelle.
Eve’s grown used to being seen as the promiscuous black sheep of her family ever since an unplanned pregnancy at age fourteen, and Isabelle is the only one in the D’Amico clan who doesn’t treat her like a second class citizen. Eve doesn’t exactly revel in the idea of hurting her sister if the truth ever comes out.
Just when she starts hitting it off with the sexy new neighbor next door, her world is turned upside-down when Dominic reveals his plans to marry Isabelle. As if things weren’t complicated enough, life decides to throw another surprise her way, and Eve is suddenly trapped with another secret to add to a much more shocking one from her past, both of which threaten to destroy every relationship she’s ever hoped to have. She must soon decide whether to reveal the truth and save her sister from a man who’s incapable of commitment, or to keep her lips sealed and secure her own place in the family. For now, though, she will dance around that decision for as long as she can, keeping everyone in check by Playing All the Angles.
Nicole Lane has loved romance novels since she was old enough to sneak them from her grandmother’s well-stocked shelves. She grew up reading Judith Krantz, Danielle Steele, and Jackie Collins, sharing dog-eared paperbacks and giggling with girlfriends over all the more instructional passages. She is living her very own, uneventful, happily-ever-after in a sea of sweat socks and Matchbox cars in Dallas, Texas.
