This was a great read just based on the thrilling effects. I love when I am able to get a book and it is a smart book. The author has tons of network and computer knowledge and it shows. There is a lot of technical things going on within the book that is sort of scary. Like the thought of someone always watching and cameras are everywhere. You think about it and it gets a bit creepy. The best aspect is the two main characters, Jay and Bennie. They know each other inside and out. They enjoy wi-fi hunting and raves. Maybe they can be considered social outcasts, but, they have hobbies that use their brains and I appreciated that. Bennie’s got a disability and is in a wheelchair. He has a super handicap van and boasts in 24 seconds he can get from behind the wheel to out the door. He timed himself.
That made me like him more.
The theme, characters, and overall plot created a page turner. Upload has a lot of tech stuff but it combines it with the plot to make it all the more interesting. If you like thrillers you’ll want to read this one.
