“. . . the Sons would never just let him go—alive.”

Seth O’Keefe has broken the laws of his god. He never thought he would sacrifice his own future to protect a Daughter of Isis. But when the Sons of Set discovered Natti is the Secret Keeper, he had no choice. Now, Seth and Natti are on the run from his father, who wants nothing more than to see Seth dead. With no allies, Seth turns to the Daughters of Isis for help, hoping they would protect Natti. But when they meet the Daughters, he discovers a secret that puts both their lives in more danger. Low on options, Seth sees only one possibility for survival. He must help Natti solve an ancient puzzle and find the secret name of Ra.

Natara “Natti” Stone is having a hard time swallowing the truth. She can’t believe what she has learned in the past twenty-four hours: Seth is a Son of Set blessed with charm; she is a Daughter of Isis blessed with a sliver of Ma ‘at; the locket her grandmother gave her holds an ancient Egyptian secret linking to Osiris and Isis. That along with being tortured and brutalized by the Sons of Set, she can hardly hold herself together. Thank God for Seth’s touch! That warm, tingling sensation that drowns it all out. Yet her heart struggles to stay focused. She must quickly embrace her destiny before the secret name of Ra falls into the wrong hands.

Just add Spice by Carol E Wyer @carolewyer #newrelease

Blurb:

Dawn Ellis needs to escape from her painfully dull existence. Her unemployed husband spends all day complaining about life, moping around, or fixing lawnmowers on her kitchen table. The local writing class proves to be an adequate distraction with its eccentric collection of wannabe authors and, of course, the enigmatic Jason, who soon shows a romantic interest in her.

Dawn pours her inner frustrations into her first novel about the extraordinary exploits of Cinnamon Knight, an avenging angel — a woman who doesn’t believe in following the rules. Cinnamon is ruthless and wanton, inflicting suffering on any man who warrants it. Little does Dawn realize that soon the line between reality and fiction will blur. Her own life will be transformed, and those close to her will pay the price. Find out what happens in Just Add Spice by best-selling author Carol E Wyer.

Sacrifice – A Fall For Me Prequel by K.A. Last
Series: The Tate Chronicles #0.5
Publication date: May 2013
Genre: YA Paranormal/Fantasy
Review:
This is a short prequel for what should become a huge series. If you like this genre of more paranormal fantasy then it will be a “to read” for you! Grace the main character is an angel. Along with Seth they explore what happened inside the castle. Grace is not at all a typical angel, I will say that her character was a little plotting an conniving to me.
There are choices for Seth. Grace is sort of untouchable and Seth must realize this. He can’t deal with being pulled in two directions. What is emotional is the love that Grace feels.
I really would like to see what happens next. Where the characters are leading and what their future hold. The interesting use of angels was a draw for me. My only complaint is it was a little too short and could have been more of an add on in the first book. If I had to wait for the first book I’d be mad. This is definitely a must read for fans of YA paranormal romance.
