Kensington Worth, aka Kensi is very normal at first. When things happen for her in her chosen career, the personal side of her  life starts to crumble. There is a very delicate balance here that threatens her household. I totally enjoyed how the author creates a very devious sub-plot. This book was fantastic!

The way Kensi has her music passion and how her parents, mainly her Dad, try to dictate her future was killer. The two families who live next door to each other were opposites, on the surface. The Harper household brought tears to my eyes a few times. As I grew to know Kensi and her family they did the same.

So sometimes as a parent you can push and demand instead of guiding your child. The way Kensi deals with her career and what turns out to be her ultimate passion was awesome!

I was loving how the Harper family had this bond. The fact that from the outside you thought they were all trouble but, they were very multi-layered. Their heartache was so real. They have more than one relevant issues. I really loved how Mrs Harper cared for her father. Having a parent with Alzheimer’s disease is a hot topic, so it was dealt with here in a caring way. Aside from that there is James Harper. I really loved him. James has substance problems and it is the most heartbreaking part for me to read.

The family drama was the center of this book. I thought it was extremely well written. Part of being an avid reader is wanting to scream “this book is amazing”! Then having everyone read it. Now as I think back to the one plot device that was, for me, most important I am yelling! I cant tell you what it was but Oh my GOD it was shocking.

As a fan of this author and her other series, I gotta say this is gritty. I was surprised at how easily the transition was for me as a reader. The main character Jules is thrust into a romance with Holden even though there is a firm warning from Dante, Holden’s brother. The set-up for the story is Jules and her search for her presumed missing foster-sister. So Jules is created with vengeance and survival twisted into one amazing girl.

Jules Donovan being focused on her goals and constantly looking over her should is what makes this a classic page turner. Now there is a decent amount of drama  and angst but I dare say it was the naughty that made me love Holden. Being well equipped to take care of herself, Jules being self-reliant is something that Holden didn’t get. The author creates Holden with a very traditional picture. He is the swoon type and Jules is sorta confused at times thinking why Holden would want her sexually or even just being attracted to her. So her self-esteem plays very well into the plot.

When I was about halfway through the book I started to get anxious, this is where the plot starts to unwind. Watch out this is when the bad guys are beginning to act out leaving Jules and Hunter at risk.  oh my goodness

It is a serious must read. If you like Lisa Jackson, Pamela Clare, and Sandra Brown, then this is for you. It is romantic suspense at it’s best. I think this would make a great movie!

What do I say about this book first? I cant stop laughing and then, my oh my it was smokin hot.  Bradley Emerson did it for me! He was thrown into taking a girl, Wiska, in to shield her from the press. Bradley doesnt know what the reason is and it takes a long time to find out. So Wiska is an adorable character who has ADD. Another favorable addition to the book is Lionel and  Casey. I know what you are thinking here cause I was screaming OMFG they are in London to guide Wiska. She has so many characteristic that I adored. First she is real and holds nothing back. If Wiska thinks it, she says it.

It is no secret I love the author, her little twitter ninja wont let her down here, so I am singing her praises again. It is not for the easily offended, so beware. My followers will gobble it up. It blend the exact amount of sex, intrigue, drama, tabloids and the gay guys.
